Bitter Be Gone 101

So hi everyone and Merry Christmas ♥

Not exactly, but It almost is! So yes. A very merry Christmas to all of you. So this blogpost is just a little something something to get me through my 2013. It's 11 days (or maybe 10) till 2014. And I will tell you that 2013 had a lot of ups and downs, decisions, happy, sad, enjoyable, regretful days. And yes, I was one of those people who posted "BE GOOD TO ME 2013" posts, maybe because 2012 hasn't been much.

AND I HAVE JUST FINISHED DOING MY NAILS! CHECK OUT MY INSTAGRAM :)

Anyway, I'm gonna have to do a runthrough with 11 LESSONS I have learned this year!

Lesson 1: WHEN IT'S FOR YOU, IT'S FOR YOU.
So January, I turned out to be the girl scout chairman, which kind of "whooooa"-ed me. Who would've thought? But I was really thankful for the opportunity. Anyway, it was kind of impossible to have that change. REALLY. But it happened.

Lesson 2: DON'T BE AFRAID TO TAKE CHANCES.
Whether it was a shot at being a layout editor, or a change to mend broken relationships, do it. Life's too short to say no to whatever opportunities come your way. Grab it before you lose it.

Lesson 3: LEARN TO TRUST.
New friends. You're not sure if their true or not but try to learn their side of the story. :) Sometimes you've got to take the risk, too. You have to believe a person to let them know what they are capable of. You'll be suprised that they are.

Lesson 4: PEOPLE COME. PEOPLE GO. LEARN TO MOVE ON.
You don't have to wait forever. You know when enough, is enough. Learn to detach yourself from things holding you down. Or things making you sad. If they broke your trust then fuck them. You're better off without them.

Lesson 5: KNOW YOUR LIMITS.
Wheter it's between academics, organizations, dancing, a trip to vegas, or relationships - know where it stands. Don't go over the top because you might end up sacrificing something worth more. Know what you can carry. It's never bad to aim high, but don't expect to reach it too far.

Lesson 6: HARDWORK PAYS.
Did I mention this was the year I graduated? Kudos to all of us! Our four years of challenges have finally paid off! :)

Lesson 7: TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH.
Never ever ever settle for anything less than the best. If you have a chance, go for it! This was also the year that I did my first ever bungy jump. YES IT SCARED THE SHT OUT OF ME, but it made me realize that life was too short to stay on the sidewalk, sometimes, you gotta jump the bridge and just hope that the rubberbands that keep you from falling are enough to keep you alive. :)

Lesson 8: APPRECIATE FAMILY
I've never been so open with my parents before. It was an episode of how I met your mother that actually changed that view. You can check it out, season 6 episode 14. It's entitled last words. The dad that he so loved, happened to die, and his last words weren't too meaningful. So he was depressed learning that he didn't have that last chance to say I love you to him. I've never been so close with them before, but I'm afraid to run out of time, so I started it now. My mom and I are like bestfriends! I tell her everything, even about the guys I like, and liked.

Lesson 9: COLLEGE IS NOT ALL ABOUT THE DRINKS AND THE SEX.
Movies say that in college, you get to drink all the beer and have all the sex you want but its not. You'll meet a lot of fake people, and you'll be shocked by the diversity of the people. But don't worry, you'll meet good people that will help you out, and will treat you the way you wish to be treated.

Lesson 10: POWER OF PRAYER
So this was also the year that a huge typhoon hit Visayas, PH, and an earthquake in Bohol and Cebu. The damage was devastating! It broke a lot of families and killed a lot of people. I was thankful that my family wasn't affected that much, but I was still sad because of everyone else who lost their homes and family. But the Filipino's faith stayed strong. That made me believe that there is more to a Filipino than what meets the eye, their faith keeps mine on going. :)

Lesson 11: BE HAPPY.
Life's hard, but always learn to smile. Happiness isn't something we pursue, it's what we do to keep the journey going. I know so many things can really made you sad, and you just want to give up, but look up and know that someone up there is looking at you and lending you a hand. And when you get so tired, you fall down on your knees --  you're in the perfect position to pray. Always be happy, and smile. Life's difficulties will only make you stronger, and life's too short for regrets ♥

Here's to a better 2014! :)
